Dementia Carer Support Group
While no two people share the exact same journey in life, the care, support, compassion and advice from others experiencing a similar journey is invaluable.
Everyone in the group understands the feelings you have, frustrations, anger, grief, exhaustion and plenty of other feelings you are going through. The principles and benefits of attending a support group remain the same.
People from all walks of life come together with a common bond – they all care for someone living with dementia.
We meet in a safe and respectful environment with confidentiality being an important factor.
Our group is an educational one, with regular guest speakers who provide information on topics relevant to carers.
This group meet on the 2nd Friday of each month from 10am - 12pm at the Armidale City Bowling Club.
